RFID solutions based on noFilis CrossTalk provided by noFilis partners

- RFID based solution for workflow management of mail/postal items
- Incoming mailbags are equipped with transponders. RFID desktop reader stations are identifying the incoming mail bags. The RFID system provides real time information about the postal items, like: sender, receiver, type of item, deadlines, etc.
- The main benefit of the system is to keep deadlines for incoming mails, which is especially important for financial/banking companies, f.e if you are considering cheques or important contracts
- Customers who are using the OCE solution are German Postbank or SEB
- SEB is one of Europe’s leading banks, based in Sweden. The German subsidiary in Frankfurt has chosen the OCE RFID solution. The logistics centre in Frankfurt collects the complete mail traffic of all German subsidiaries. 8 tons of mail every month. 50.000 letters in 12.000 mail bags are arriving in Frankfurt every day.
- The employees in Frankfurt are very happy with the new system, all incoming mails are identified automatically and are displayed by the system. F.e. mail, which has to be parsed to yellow mail, is automatically selected, weight and prepared. The mail handling has much less manual activities than before, and is saving much more money than expected when starting the project.
- The main achievements: automation of cost accounting, cost transparency, continuous improvement of delivery and security, much better operational throughput, consistently recording of tracking information, better detection of weak points by permanently analyzing delivery times and throughput, no longer manual investigations and address completions.
